The World Federation of Environmental and Intercultural Journalists (WOFEJ) aims to remind her members the legality processes for the dissemination of the World Environment Day informatively and educatively as along with other Aid and humanitarian emergency professionals, journalists are often “first responders” when an earthquake, prolonged conflict, civil war or a terrorist attack devastates a community.
For World Environment Day 2022, the theme #OnlyOneEarth, which was used at the first global environment gathering in 1972, is being revived. Sweden will also host an international conference called Stockholm+50 to accelerate climate action.
Obviously, numerous actions are being taken by governments, cities, finance, businesses, NGOs,
academia, civil society including WOFEJ and individuals across climate, nature, chemicals and pollution.
This year’s World Environment Day “WED” #OnlyOneEarth calls for collective transformative action on a global scale to celebrate, protect and restore our planet, our common home.
As WOFEJ member association or individual journalists you are supposed to share with our communication department all your writing’s as WOFEJ is planning to reward its members for their imperative input on the occasions.
